Don’t put away your fur coat just yet. Bella Hadid stepped out earlier today in a duster that was light enough to transition into spring. While Hadid has sported a similar look before, her latest came in a brighter, bolder shade, ideally suited to the new season. With its distinct mustard hue, the coat recalled the Guo Pei masterpiece Rihanna wore to the Met Gala in May 2015. And if Rihanna can do it, well, Hadid can, too.
Hadid’s pelts were a nice contrast to her black T-shirt and RtA jeans, which, with the straight-leg silhouette, felt right in line with her often ’90s-minded fashion sense. She topped things off with a newsboy cap and tinted sunglasses, which also had a certain throwback slant. A pair of patent leather boots with sturdy platform heels elevated the off-duty moment and tied in with a shoulder bag in the same finish. Here’s hoping Hadid turns up on this year’s Met Gala red carpet with just as much stylish swagger.

Paris Jackson Makes Her Late Night Debut in the Perfect LBD
Between sitting front row at Givenchy’s Fall menswear and couture collection in January and appearing on the red carpet at this year’s Grammy Awards, Paris Jackson has been making her way through the rising star milestones. With magazine covers and millions of followers online, the daughter of pop legend Michael Jackson has officially joined the generation of celebrity children turned fashion influencers, and last night on The Tonight Show she continued her streak of winning looks. Stepping into the hot seat with host Jimmy Fallon, Jackson chose a star-patterned little black dress from Rebecca Vallance. She showcased the easygoing style she’s becoming k
nown for by mixing the feminine ruffled mini with crimson Dr. Martens.

Sharing her thoughts on first crushes and favorite albums, Jackson gamely participated in the familiar late night antics. Her appealing yet affordable dress—the design retails for under $300—made it the right look for playing a messy round of egg Russian roulette with Fallon and transitioning to evening with the addition of rounded sunglasses and vintage leather jacket. Jackson and her stylist Sonia Young have been smart about maintaining the hippie sensibility of her off-duty wardrobe when dressing for important events. Even when she’s polished and ready for her close-up, Jackson’s choices retain an every-girl appeal that’s refreshing.

Ashley Biden's New Sweatshirt Line Is Equal Parts Style and Social Conscience
Ashley Biden—as in former Vice President Joe Biden’s daughter—really didn’t have a choice but to go into public service, as she tells it.
“The passion started at a very young age,” Biden tells Glamour. “My dad is a lifelong public servant; my mom was a public-school teacher—it’s in my DNA.”
And that meant Biden got her start early. “When I was a kid, I always really loved animals, and I found out that Bonne Bell lip gloss was testing on animals, so I organized my school to start writing letters to [the company],” she says. “Then I became obsessed with the plight of dolphins getting stuck in tuna nets. My dad connected me with Congressman Barbara Boxer, who I nicknamed the ‘dolphin lady,’ and she got me onto the floor to help lobby Republican congressman for The Dolphin Protection Consumer Information Act.”
From there, Biden says her interest grew to a focus on social justice and “the unfairness people experience through education opportunities.”
Cut to adulthood, and Biden has 15 years of experience fighting for social equality under her belt and is currently the executive director of the Delaware Center for Justice.
“Every day is really powerful,” Biden says of her work. “Last night one of the case managers got someone a job out of prison, and she went at nine o’clock at night to get him a uniform for his new job, and snapped a photo of him just looking so proud to be back to work and in that uniform. The work we are doing is impacting real people.”
Included in Biden’s hectic schedule is one of her favorite parts of the job, she says—teaching classes to inmates, including one on the science behind substance abuse (in fact, Biden hopped on the phone with Glamour having just left one of her classes).
“We focus on neurobiology of the brain and how it relates to addiction," Biden says. "I asked the women in the class, ‘What have you guys been taught before?’ And they said everything they’ve really ever been informed about is side effects from medications. Well, that’s not getting to the root cause.”
While Biden is keeping her day job, she has a new passion project, a line of sweatshirts called Livelihood, that marries two of her favorite thing—fashion and social work.
Sold exclusively on Gilt, the unisex line is made in the U.S. and priced between $79 and $99. Most important: All proceeds go toward supporting local charitable causes. Initially, funds will go to education, workplace development, and job placement initiatives in Wilmington, Delaware (where Biden was born), and Anacostia, in the District of Columbia (where Biden got her start as a social worker), but she has her sights set on expanding from there.
“The most effective social programs are in local communities,” Biden says. “They know best where funding should go.”
To the same tune, Biden is eager to get more people involved in local politics, which is why she started the interactive website getinvolvedinyourhood.com.
“We have to create more awareness around the importance of civic participation,” Biden says. “Oftentimes we go out and vote during the presidential races, but then stay home during the local elections. We need to figure out in the coming weeks and months how to get people to understand governance better. People talk a lot about apathy, but I think it has more to do with knowledge about how the government works. I wish there was an easy way to explain to people why it’s just as important vote in city council races as it is for the president. These people are the CEOs of our lives.”

Keke Palmer Has Words for Charlie Puth After He Put Bella Thorne on Blast
Keke Palmer wants everyone to keep their personal stuff well...personal.
Palmer took to Twitter to call out Charlie Puth for confronting Bella Thorne on the same social media platform after he assumed she had been cheating on boyfriend Tyler Posey with him. "I can't believe what I'm reading," he said. "No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I'm not going to be in the middle of it."
Puth, 25, made it clear he was no longer interested in pursuing Thorne. But Palmer feels that Puth should've avoided social media and confronted the actress directly. "Why couldn't you have just texted @bellathorne in private if you were confused? The interview is dated. So sorry Bella, ignore," she wrote.
Thorne later retweeted Palmer's message and added her own.
"Charlie and I were hanging out..he saw an old interview and got butthurt but instead of texting me and asking about it he put it on Twitter," she wrote.
The interview Palmer is referring to is an article that appeared in Paper magazine Thursday that included heartwarming quotes from Thorne about Posey. "When [Posey and I] first started dating, paparazzi got a photo of us kissing outside and it sucked that people got that photo because we really didn't want it out at that time," the actress explained. "We were obviously dating and hanging out, but it just wasn't necessary to put that in front of everyone's face, you know? That one sucked."
To clear the air, Thorne tweeted a link to the article and added, "Ty and I have been broken up for like over two weeks and charlie and I ARENT DATING we are friends. That article was written forever ago."
When a fan responded saying she thought Thorne and Posey had broken up, Thorne responded, "Thank youuuu finally someone's paying attention."
Posey has yet to acknowledge the situation on any of his social media accounts.
Several weeks ago, Puth tweeted about the "kiss of his life," which many of his fans assumed was with Thorne. The pair took their romance public Sunday when they got close in Miami Beach. Later that night, they made their red carpet debut at the 2016 Y-100 Jingle Ball concert.
